This team was formed in 2002 by Dee Phillips and her friends, based in West Sussex. The idea was to show the public that small fluffy dogs could be just as clever as the larger dogs that one normally sees performing. A variety of colourful props are used and the Team put on displays for local day centres once a month. These have been so successful and entertaining that they are booked up for a year ahead! The dogs are either registered Pat Dogs or Canine Care Dogs and have been temperament tested.

Over the years they have featured in various magazines and newspapers and have appeared on TV many times including Blue Peter and Smile! They have been lucky enough to have been invited to display at Crufts for four years running and have also performed at Discover Dogs in London. This year they are delighted to have been invited to perform at the prestigious Cavalier Championship Show at Blenheim Palace on Saturday August 21st. The dogs will be showing how good they are at a variety of disciplines including gundog work(!), heelwork to music, tricks, elements of the Good Citizen award scheme and fun agility, followed by a chance for the audience to ‘have a go’ with their dogs.

All donations received have been forwarded to Southern Cavalier Welfare and to date they have raised almost £3400! Please visit the  Southern Cavalier Welfare web site to see what this money goes towards.
